Jean-Pierre Van Der Spuy

Theatre includes: as Director – Oliver! (Grange Park Opera), Barnum (UK tour); as Associate Director – Miss Saigon (Prince Edward and Japan), Barnum (Chichester Festival Theatre), The Phantom of the Opera (Her Majesty’s and Royal Albert Hall 25th anniversary celebration); as Resident Director – The Phantom of the Opera (Her Majesty’s) and Miss Saigon (UK tour); as Children’s Director – Mary Poppins (Prince Edward). Jean-Pierre is one of the founders of the Bridge Project, a creative exchange programme with South African theatre practitioners and actors. Jean-Pierre trained at the Guildford School of Acting.
